These terms govern your use of Peak Prep. By registering an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What Peak Prep is
Peak Prep is an adaptive practice platform that helps children prepare for transfer tests, particularly the SEAG and AQE assessments used in Northern Ireland. It provides practice questions, readiness reports, challenges, and progress tracking.
Peak Prep is an educational support tool. It does not guarantee any particular exam result, school placement, or academic outcome.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to register a parent account.
- One parent account can support up to five child profiles.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must not share your account with unrelated families or resell access.
- Child profiles may only be created by the registered parent or guardian.
3. Subscriptions and payments
- A 14-day free trial allows families to set up the account, add child profiles, and complete the first baseline before choosing a paid plan or approved code access arrangement.
- Subscriptions are billed via Stripe. We do not store card details.
- Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Premium - Full Prep Year is prepaid. Cancellation stops future renewal but unused months are not refunded unless required by law.
- Premium - Early family is an introductory family plan for early adopters or special offers.
- We reserve the right to change prices for new or renewed subscriptions with reasonable notice.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Upload or use offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted content as profile images or names
- Attempt to access another family's data or circumvent security controls
- Use the platform to reproduce or distribute protected exam content
- Use automated tools to scrape questions or data from the platform
- Misrepresent your identity or the age of a child profile
- Use the platform for any purpose other than educational preparation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without notice.
5. Content and intellectual property
Practice questions, comprehension passages, and other content on Peak Prep are our original work or properly licensed. They are inspired by the style and curriculum of SEAG and AQE assessments; they are not reproductions of protected past papers.
You may not copy, distribute, or republish questions or content from the platform without written permission.
Your account data and your child's learning records remain yours. You may request a copy or deletion at any time (see our Privacy Notice).
6. Children and parental responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child's use of the platform. You are responsible for the appropriateness of any profile images or nicknames you approve.
Child profiles are not intended for unsupervised internet use by young children. The student mode is designed to be safe and encouraging, but no automated filter is perfect. Please report any concerns.
7. AI-generated content
Some features — such as personalised feedback on written answers and practice ladders — use AI language models. AI-generated content is intended as guidance only and may occasionally be inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI feedback.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peak Prep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including lost data or missed exam preparation.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change these terms or the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes by email or by posting on the platform. Continuing to use Peak Prep after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
